THAYER WALLACE
SENIOR MINISTER
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Alyssa for 14 years. We have three children, a daughter named Everleigh (9) and two sons named Toren (7) and Ledger (3). I got my Seminary degree at Cincinnati Christian University and have always worked as a Youth and Worship Pastor. I also played soccer as a goalkeeper in high school and college.
Why do you love being a part of Central?
I love the people and their genuine care. I love Portsmouth and the potential and hope that I see for its future.

What would you be doing on a free day?
I love playing with my kids and great stories. Whether those stories are in a book, a film, or even a video game, I am going to enjoy it. I also can sometimes be found on a golf course...for longer than I should because of all the extra shots I have to take.
JORDEN SELBEE
WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Jordan is married to his wife, Amber, and together they have a sweet two-year-old daughter, Remi, who definitely keeps life fun and full of energy. You will often see her dancing somewhere in the church.
When he’s not leading worship, you’ll probably find him adding another guitar to his collection, working on or dreaming about off-road vehicles, or spending time with his extended family. He loves adventure, good music, and seeing people encounter Jesus through worship.
ALYSSA WALLACE
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
I've been married to Thayer for fourteen years and am the proud mom of three wonderful kids: Everleigh (9), Toren (7), and Ledger (3). I attended Kentucky Christian University, where I earned a degree in Bible and English.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles, including admissions counselor, bank teller, Women’s Campus Pastor, barista, office manager, and even working at a local ice cream shop during high school and college. Each experience has shaped my heart for people and ministry in unique ways.
Why I Love Being Part of Central
The people truly make Central what it is. Their love and care for one another create an atmosphere that feels like one big family, and I’m so grateful to be part of a church community like that.
