THAYER WALLACE
SENIOR MINISTER
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Alyssa for 12 years. We have three children, a daughter named Everleigh (6) and two sons named Toren (4) and Ledger (1). I got my Seminary degree at Cincinnati Christian University and have always worked as a Youth and Worship Pastor. I also played soccer as a goalkeeper in high school and college.
Why do you love being a part of Central?
I love the people and their genuine care. I love Portsmouth and the potential and hope that I see for its future.

What would you be doing on a free day?
I love playing with my kids and great stories. Whether those stories are in a book, a film, or even a video game, I am going to enjoy it. I also can sometimes be found on a golf course...for longer than I should because of all the extra shots I have to take.

Like Thayer said, we've been married for twelve years and have three kids (Everleigh (6), Toren (4), and Ledger (1). I went to school at Kentucky Christian University and got a degree in Bible and English. I have worked as an admissions counselor, bank teller, Women's Campus Pastor, barista, office manager, and at a local ice cream shop in high school/college.
Why do you love being a part of Central?
The people make the church what it is. They are so loving and caring and it truly feels like one big family.

What would you be doing on a free day?
Hanging out with my children and cooking/cleaning. I also enjoy thrifting (or shopping in general) and reading a good book.
